Peter Everard Smith's photography is a vast catalogue of striking and bold pictures taken of some of the biggest names in music history. Smith started making a name for himself as a music photographer in the mid 1960's while studying at The City and Guilds School of Art in Kennington, London. While working part time as a roady, Peter was introduced to to John Mayall and was asked to take photos for the record sleeve art for the album Crusade. From there onwards his connections and portfolio grew, going on to take amazing live and studio shots of great artists and cultural icons such as Grace Jones, Freddie King, Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones, Freddie Mercury of Queen, Nick Cave, Roy Orbison and Frank Zappa. Fans of rock, pop, blues, soul, prog rock, 60's and 70's pop music culture will love these officially licensed designs!
